Community School Consultation

Ealing council is consulting on a proposed change to the admissions arrangements for community schools for entry in September 2027 with the introduction of a staff child criterion. Under the proposed criterion, priority would be given to children of staff who:

• Have been employed at the school for a minimum of two years at the time of application
• Are employed in a post where there is a demonstrable skill shortage.

This criterion would be placed below looked after and previously looked after children and siblings, but above distance only based admissions.

The consultation will be open until 22 December 2025, please read the revised community school admissions arrangements 2027/28 before completing a short survey to submit your views.
