DREAM JAR CHALLENGE WINNERS! October 2016

DREAM JAR CHALLENGE RESULTS!

 Hello Everybody!

Thank you to all of you who entered the Dream Jar Challenge. We had hundreds of entries from both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You have all done so well and it was great for me, and your teachers, to read about the dream you wish for! It was interesting to read about your dreams to float amongst the stars, to become famous footballers and singers, to enter the Olympics for gymnastics, to be doctors who would help the sick, and to be transported to various fantasy lands…to mention just a few!

Some members of the school staff also joined in and wrote about their dream wishes. Some of the pupils’ entries and the staff dream jars are displayed in the Key Stage 2 building, up the stairs and in the corridor outside the tutors’ classroom.

WINNERS!

There was one winner from each class. As the quality of the entries was high, it was difficult to choose just one winner! The winners’ names were announced in Assembly on Friday the 14th October and the winners received a Blog Certificate and had their photos taken by Mr. Amos.

The winning dream jars are displayed outside the tutors’ classroom and are at the bottom of this page, too. Click on each one to enlarge it.

Remember: DON’T wait for the next writing challenge! Write NOW! You never know, YOU might be a Blog Certificate Winner, too!

You can write about anything - stories, poems, descriptions, a recount of a special day or event - anytime, anywhere, and either bring it into school, or send it to me by e-mail at: pbuhariwala@horsenden.ealing.sch.uk.

So, don’t forget to READ, READ, READ AND WRITE, WRITE, WRITE!
