Southall Black Sisters - 

Southall Black Sisters provides information, advice, advocacy, practical help, counselling and support to women and children experiencing domestic and other forms of gender-related violence. Their holistic services are aimed at helping all women escape violence and abuse and, to this end, they address a range of inter related problems such as:

  • Rape and sexual abuse
  • Forced marriage
  • Honour crimes
  • Sexual harassment
  • Dowry related abuse
  • Matrimonial issues
  • Child residence and contact
  • Housing and homelessness
  • Immigration and asylum
  • Suicide, self harm, mental health and depression
  • Policing and crime
  • Racism

The helpline is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30am - 4:30pm on 0208 571 0800 and the general enquiry line is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 - 5:00 on 0208 571 9595

 

Women and Girls Network (WGN) is a free, women-only service that supports women in London who have experienced violence, or are at risk of violence. They offer counselling, advocacy and advice for women and girls who have experienced gendered violence, including sexual and domestic violence. WGN leads in delivering innovative and effective counselling services for women; who have experienced all forms of gendered violence.
