On Friday 3 March, a team of Year 5 pupils went to Oldfield Primary School to take part in a Maths Puzzle event. The event was aimed at pupils improving their co-operation skills and working together as a team to solve a number of puzzles. There were three schools at the event: Horsenden Primary, Oldfield Primary and Wood End Academy.
The pupils had a great time and worked very well together. Other teachers from other schools complimented our pupils on how good their communication and teamwork skills were! The team managed to complete most of the challenges with only one challenge remaining unsolved!
Have a look at the photographs below to see the team in action.
Also, have a look at the attachment to see one of the problems the team had to solve. If you think you have completed it, give it to Miss Harrison who will tell you if you are correct!
