In assembly on Friday 9 December, Miss Harrison explained to the children that tomorrow, December 10th, is Human Rights Day.
In November 1989, the United Nations formally adopted 54 principles which make up the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
On display were a few books from the library on the subject of human rights, focusing on children's rights.
One book in particular, 'For Every Child' produced by UNICEF, explains in simple terms the rights of every child, wherever they live and whoever they are.
